Complete control over all cleaning functions allows you to create your own preferred cleaning regimen. At the push of a button, the recommended Groove Care record-cleaning fluid is automatically dispensed from the internal reservoir. The multifunction cleaning arm adjusts easily for 12”, 10”, and 7” records, while bi-directional platter rotation ensures thorough groove cleaning.
A powerful yet remarkably quiet vacuum efficiently removes cleaning fluid, directing it into a separate internal waste reservoir. An integrated anti-static brush mounted at the rear of the unit dissipates any residual static charge, while the supplied record clamp securely protects labels from moisture throughout the cleaning process.
Built at Clearaudio’s factory in Germany, the Smart Double Matrix features a robust enclosure that isolates internal mechanisms and fluid reservoirs for reliable, long-term performance. The precision platter motor and bearing system ensure durability, while the high-performance vacuum engine delivers exceptional suction with minimal noise. Convenient top-mounted controls provide easy access to power, fluid dispensing, platter rotation direction, and vacuum operation.
